MetroRock Competitive Team
Does your child love to climb? Come join Team MetroRock, our nationally-ranked youth climbing team! If your kids are ready to take climbing to the next level, email our Programs Manager, bobbie@metrorock.com.
Our dedicated group comes together nine months out of the year to train, work on technique, and develop as climbers. While a certain level of commitment is expected, there is plenty of time to have fun on and off the walls with the rest of the team. Many team members look forward to testing themselves at local, regional, and national competitions as part of the USA Climbing Championships. Each year, several members from our competitive team advance to Divisionals, Nationals, and even Worlds!
The coaching staff works with kids from grade school through high school in weekly practice sessions. We help students reach their personal goals and become competition-level climbers by practicing drills and strength routines, as well as by sharpening their mental game. Team kids have fun, learn to work hard to achieve their goals, and strive to reach their full potential.
Dates + Rates
MWF | 4:30PM - 7PM
2 Days a Week | $305 billed monthly
3 Days a Week | $365 billed monthly
Includes MetroRock membership
Ages 10-17
We follow the Public School Schedule, so there is no practice when public schools are closed.
MetroRock Recreational Team
The MetroRock Recreational Team is a great fit for kids who are interested in developing their climbing skills without the pressure of competing. The Rec Team focuses on building skills in footwork, strength, technique, belaying, and more! Members of this team will gain the skills to eventually join the competitive teams through a less intensive program that is focused more on their age range.

1 Day a Week | $250 billed monthly

Ages 8-15
Try outs for Recreational team are held on the first Tuesday of every month, and are free. Please email the Head Coach of Rec Team, bobbie@metrorock.com, to sign up (walk ins cannot be accommodated.)
