What should we bring?

All campers should come with clothes they can move freely in, socks, a water bottle, a snack, and a lunch (stuffed furry friends also welcome). All other climbing gear will be provided!

Which forms are needed to participate?

Campers will need a waiver filled out by a parent or caregiver (if your child has been to MetroRock within the last year, they likely already have one on file), a health examination form, and a medical form. Links are below. Please email these filled-out forms to bkyouth@metrorock.com at least a week in advance. These only need to be submitted once per season.

Do you offer any discounts or financial aid?

Yes! We offer discounts for sibling sign-ups (5%, automatically applied at checkout), members (10%), and multi-week sign-ups (5%). To take advantage of the latter two, submit a request via email to bkyouth@metrorock.com. Discounts do not stack.

We are also passionate about making our Youth Programs accessible and inclusive for all — especially those who have traditionally been underrepresented in the climbing community. Do you offer late pick-up options?

Yes! We offer the option for a 4pm pickup at a rate of $50 per day. To request this option, please email bkyouth@metrorock.com at least a week in advance.

What is your refund policy?

We are happy to offer full refunds to those who cancel no less than two weeks in advance of their scheduled day/s. If you need to cancel after that time period, you may only reschedule free of charge. No refund will be given to no-shows.

What are the expectations for the participants?

Climbing is an incredibly fun and challenging sport! It is also inherently dangerous, which makes following the rules all the more important. We expect all campers to be attentive to the rules as they are laid out at the beginning of every camp day, to listen to the counselors, to treat others with kindness, and to refrain from intentionally physically harmful or highly disruptive behavior.

MetroRock has a 3-strike policy for unsafe or significantly disruptive behavior. Strike 1 is a verbal warning, strike 2 is a verbal warning followed by a talk with parents/guardians, strike 3 may result in sitting out of class, a call home for early pick-up and/or reevaluation of the camper’s ability to participate in camp.

Can you make exceptions to the age restrictions?

Unfortunately, we are unable to make any exceptions for anyone who will not be 5 years old by the day they are signed up for.
